Indiana (Storch Report) — ‘White Privilege’ is but another way of liberals seeding and fostering racism in America — why not just call it ‘White Racism’ rather than try to disguise it as a privilege only whites have, which is far from the truth?
From liberal college campuses to the White House itself, the divisiveness of racism is being propagated in American culture like at no other time in recent history.
In the spring of 2015 Notre Dame will hold a White Privilege Seminar: An Introduction to the Intersections of Privilege. In their class announcement they say the course, “is designed to educate and train White Privilege Conference delegation participants on the definitions of historical/current paradigm of and causes/effects of white privilege.”
By its very definition the course description clearly states that there is no black privilege in the United States, which is grossly false.
The description goes on to say: “The goal for each participant is personal transformation, to leave the class and conference more aware of injustices and be better equipped with tools to disrupt personal, institutional and worldwide systems of oppression. The nature of living in contemporary culture indicates that people consciously and unconsciously simultaneously participate in and are affected by systems of oppression; however, since these behaviors can be learned, they can also be unlearned.”
It smacks of the brain washing tactics of Communism on the liberal college campuses of America.
The course is being taught by Emmanuel Cannady, Assistant Director for Outreach at Notre Dame, at the Gender Relations Center, Iris Outlaw a Director of Programming at Notre Dame for Multicultural Student Programs and Services , at Notre Dame and a faculty member who helped organize protests against the College Republicans’ hosting of Ann Coulter on campus last year under the premise that Ann was a perpetrator of racial ‘hate speech,’ and Ke’Ana Bradley Assistant Director of Programming MSPS. All three instructors are black.
Mark Gianfalla a white Notre Dame student and conservative campus activist said, “This isn’t education, it’s indoctrination. The problem I see with this course is that it is teaching a flawed and inherently racist sociological theory as fact.”
Perhaps we should be spending some more time in educating the leaders of tomorrow in the principles of the Constitution.
It is not bad enough that this is taking place from the grass roots of our bastion of education where minds, opinions and directions are being formulated by misguided liberals, it is also being propagated by the progressive President Barack Obama, a constitutional lawyer who violates the principles he taught by executive order.
And to cite some specific examples where Obama buttresses this kind of racial divisiveness, you only have to read his book ‘Dreams from my Father,’ or examine his comments when he said the Cambridge police acted ‘stupidly’ in 2009 after the arrest of Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr. for disorderly conduct after a confrontation with a police officer inside his own home. Although charges were dropped, Obama spoke before he had all the facts calling it an example of ‘racial profiling,’ the incident resulted in a ‘beer summit’ on the White House lawn, with all parties kissing and making up.
Then there was the Trayvon Martin killing in 2012 where Obama was quick to speak out once again before he had the facts and said, ‘this could have been my son.’ Another way of saying that Trayvon Martin could have been me 35 years ago and injecting racism into the equation before a jury acquitted the killer.
And more recently in 2014 we had the Ferguson Mo., incident where a police officer killed a black man and Obama again spoke out without all the facts saying, “There’s no excuse for excessive force by police or any action that denies people the right to protest peacefully.” The police officer was acquitted by a federal grand jury.
There has been a pattern during the Obama administration to ‘Change’ America on a number of fronts and the divisiveness of racism is but one of those fronts and we now see that it is taking place in various forms from college campuses to the Oval office.
