So, is the new starting point to a sentence, it is apparently the new ‘in’ word replacing, ‘we’, ‘um,’ ‘like,’ none of which serve much purpose of information and maybe that is the new intent of a conjunction.
Conjunction’s now apparently give us time to think as to where we are going with our thoughts.
A conjunction is really supposed to serve to connect words, phrases, clauses or sentences.
We all like to be ‘in’ and to be ‘in’ with a new ‘in’ word like ‘so.’
‘So ,’ what is the word connecting with when you start the sentence with ‘so?’
Nothing, I mean, it sounds like beginning a sentence with a non sequitur rather than ending a sentence with one, thus connecting a word like ‘so’ to nothing . . . anyway.
It sounds as though it would be a word Greg Gutfeld of Fox’s The Five would ban, while tonight he served up a ‘cul de sac of conjecture’ to explain what no one seemed to know about the shootings today at the DC Navy Yard.
Perhaps reporters should have begun their reports with ‘so,’ it might have been more revealing.
We did, and ‘so’ perhaps we are ‘in,’ and we used the word correctly in this sentence. At least I think I did.
And if Gutfeld doesn’t ban the word, I will, and never use it again to start a sentence.
Whatever . . .
