President-elect Obama held his first press conference today and in response to what kind of dog his family will bring into the White House, he told the world that his family would prefer a shelter dog, but went on to say that most shelter dogs are ‘mutt’s like me,’ explaining that this selection might not be possible because his youngest daughter Malia is allergic and the dog will need to be hypoallergenic.
