Very frankly I don’t know what might be more important to write about than President Obama: working to make him a one term president and helping in some small way to save a nation.
He is a classic replica of Nero, and you know from history what happened to Rome while he played.
The president spent $2.2 million on two Black Maria buses built in Canada, while talking-up ‘made in the USA’ on a three day Midwest taxpayer reelection campaign junket delivering hackneyed repetitive phrases about jobs and economy while we are at a level of 9.2 percent unemployment and 18 percent under employment and $14 trillion in debt.
The next day he took off for another of his vacations in his short 2 1/2 years in office and while on his flight to Martha’s Vineyard – Michelle and the girls were on a separate flight all at taxpayer dollars – the markets tanked more than 400 points.
Yesterday while Obama was playing golf, the Dow went down another 173 points.
I hope you are getting the picture about this president. He is not recalling congress to address this crisis – his behavior belies that there is, in fact, an economic or job crisis.
He is promising a ‘major speech’, that he will deliver after his vacation, to provide an answer to jobs and the economy, and you can bet he will be talking about spending and stimulus – and he knows how to do this well.
But if he has the answer and this speech is so ‘major’ why is he waiting to deliver this message, while we are in the midst of a crisis until after his vacation?
Hello, Nero!
However, he seems to be paying attention to his job and reelection. By executive order, slipping it through on a Friday and while he is on vacation, grants ‘backdoor amnesty’ to some 300,000 illegal immigrants a way to circumvent the Dream Act that he couldn’t get through congress. A few votes pocketed?
On another front he is now facing a campaign issue that will mean votes, and that is the subject of his folly, Obamacare.
His dilemma on Obamacare is to decide whether to try and delay his health care law from going to the Supreme Court on a constitutional issue challenged by the states for an early decision to prevent taxpayer money from being wasted, or from becoming a campaign issue by delaying it. I would suggest he opts for the latter.
Watch these two Obama political moves – they will be telling.
I would suggest that his thought process, however, is on his job – not yours.
