The Pols on both sides of the aisle just don’t seem to get it. It seems to me to be much like Thomas Paine’s famous quote, “lead, follow or get out of the way.”
It was Paine that also said, “Government even in its best state is but a necessary evil; in its worse state an intolerable one.”
Politicians don’t want to get out of the way for the fear of their own demise of being inconsequential, which most of them are.
President Obama has achieved the pinnacle of the Peter Principle – he has achieved his own level of incompetency.
It is really difficult to determine whether this statement is accurate, for no one can really say that he reached any level of competency before or after his candidacy for president.
This was a man with no business experience, virtually no political experience, despite serving as a Senator for two years, but voting present most of the time; was a community organizer before that and was a disciple of Saul Alinsky, a Marxist who believed in the demise of America.
We no longer need to debate the lack of Obama’s experience to run a country, he has proven his ineptness. Joe the Plumber exposed this when he challenged Obama on the concept of wealth redistribution.
Charles Krauthammer, the Washington Post columnist nailed it this evening on the O’Reilly Factor on Fox News, when he said, “Obama gives a good speech, but he never ran a candy store.”
