While taking victory laps around the United States posturing for his 2012 reelection campaign, calling for immigration reform to turn 11 million illegal Hispanic  immigrants into votes for him by attempting to give them amnesty, President Obama and first lady Michelle invite political rapper Lonnie Rashid Lynn Jr., now known as Common, to center stage at the White House to read some poetry.

The poetry he is most widely known for was the metaphorical burning of President George W. Bush — a “burning bush.”

This is a musician with ties to President Obama’s former controversial pastor, Rev. Jeremiah Wright.

He is one that defends Wright by saying, “He never really was against white people or another race,” Common told Electronic Urban Report in 2008.  “It was more against an establishment that was oppressing people.  I think we all can see that this country has problems and a lot of it starts in the political system.”

According to Fox News, in sermons, Wright accused the US government of racism and in the days after the Sept 11 terrorist attacks, he said “America’s chickens are coming home to roost” after it dropped atomic bombs on Japan and “supported state terrorism against Palestinians and black South Africans.”

Obama continues to fuel serious doubts about his motives, the liberals/Marxists he associates himself with, his socialist polices such as Obamacare and the controversy he stirs up by inviting a political rapper to the White House to perform with nonsense comments that most intellectuals can’t understand, but he, Obama and Michelle, seem to resonate with.

Common, a Robert Frost he is not.
