After more than two-and-a-half years it took a ‘carnival barker’ to force President Obama to release the long form of his birth certificate, hopefully putting to rest that Obama was born in the US.

Donald Trump, the ‘carnival barker’ Obama referred to during a press conference today, was quick to take credit for the revelation.

The question still remains as to why after two-and-a-half years Obama decided  to release the long form birth certificate today.

Up until today, a recent poll showed that 38% of Americans did not believe Obama was born in the US, and Obama said ‘there will still be doubters.’

Perhaps it’s an early sign that Obama would prefer to run against ‘The Donald’ than any of the other candidates on the GOP roster.

Obama said he was ‘puzzled and amused’ by all of this noting that ‘we do not have time for this silliness.’

No, but he has time for golf and vacations in Rio while starting a third war.

Nevertheless, it took a ‘sideshow’  performance from a ‘carnival barker’ , as the White House likes to call ‘The Donald’, to flesh-out the real long form birth certificate when no one else, including the Clinton’s, could.

Obama could have, and should have, put this issue behind him at the get-go.

He said he revealed the long form birth certificate today because the issue has become a ‘distraction.’

After two-and-a-half years he is just realizing this; asserting, ‘we have enormous problems out there?’

Perhaps Obama is a slow learner as Trump alleges, while trying to flesh-out Obama’s college transcripts.
