I listened with cynical, but conservative wisdom, for the right words from a leadership deficit today when President Obama spoke to the nation about the debt ceiling and what I unfortunately heard was the thesis of Saul Alinsky, a self proclaimed Marxist who preached wealth redistribution, the destruction of a nation and a new world order.

I do believe that America needs to keep its eye on the underlining messages of what I am calling for the first time Obamaisim, because I do believe he is a disciple of the late Alinsky, and other radicals of the left, which I don’t believe is good for America.

This is a president, but for a few weeks past, who proposed a budget that would continue to break the world bank of providing us with loans and put us further in debt than we already are to the tune of $14 trillion, but today embraced the Tea Party movement calling for the reduction of our national deficit by $4 trillion over the next 12 years.

Well how do you think he is going to do that – wealth redistribution.  Further taxing the 2% of this nation that pays most of the taxes for the rest of the people anyway, and unfortunately that includes small business entrepreneurs who supply most of the jobs.  Somehow Obama missed addressing jobs and the economy in his campaign speech and failed to address small business. An error of commission, or omission?

It was his re-election pitch, preaching the same thing he did as a candidate when he had a discussion with ‘Joe the Plumber.’

Since Obama has been in office, his third year, he himself has created a deficit more than any other president before him – $4.3 trillion.

And today he is still convinced his stimulus program worked.  This is a president in denial, or perhaps on another mission.

This effort today was nothing but a re-litigation of wealth redistribution.  You see government doesn’t create wealth – they just use it.

Obama is the antithesis of what America is not, he has a European style, believes in a nanny state, big government and big spending.

It was not he that talked about fiscal responsibility yesterday, but somehow he seemed to talk about it today.

He was no more specific today about how he was going to reduce this $4 trillion deficit over the next 12 years than he’s been about anything else that he’s proposed. Oh he talked about savings from the defense budget, reform of medicare and social security and said he would not renew the Bush tax cuts and would further limit tax deductions for the 2% of the wealthy and reform the tax code on indivudials and corporations.

Now he said he was going to do all of this by protecting the middle class, seniors and providing for an investment in the future.

He and Michelle must go to bed each evening telling each other fairy tales.

For what Obama does, whether or not he realizes it, is give a speech as he did today with generalities, no specifics, and kick the ball down the street to Congress.

Yes, this is the definition of a leadership deficit.  But, carefully watch the underlining Alinsky motives.

Vice President Joe Biden was, he was sleeping during Obama’s speech.
