It was just too much from tailgate, to the Obama interview, to pre game, to post game with, a barrage of intermittent commercials to remember whether I saw the Super Bowl.

I do remember Christina Aguilera singing a terrible version of the National Anthem, to which she couldn’t remember the words, while looking somewhat like Adam Sandler in an earlier Tailgate skit with Jenifer Aniston, where he wore a wig similar to the hair style of Aguilera.

Lea Michele did a beautiful job with America the Beautiful.

Then for further distractions there was President George Bush and Laura in a special Dallas Cowboy box with John Madden on one side, texting, and NY Yankees A-Rod being fed pop corn by Penelope Cruz on the other.

There was a lot of stuff going on.  During the pre-game, they threw me Bill O’Reilly with an exclusive interview with President Obama, who declared before my very eyes that he was not for wealth redistribution. If that is not the case why do all of his policies reflect it?  For a moment I thought I was hearing messages from another planet.  But no there was more, he said (Obama) that he was confident in changes for Egypt.

Now this was a lot to digest with my Cuban sandwich and gin and tonic.

But then there was this Pepsi Max Ad with zero calories and some kind of a torpedo cooler which shoots out cans, that hits a guy mocking some girls, in the balls with one can and hits him with a second can in the head as he mumbles, “Sweet mother.”

I guess it rang a bell.

Oh, the game.  At half time it was Green Bay 21 Steelers 10.  Not a bad half, if I could have spent some more time watching it without all the impedimenta.

Then came the Black Eyed Peas at half time. That’s entertainment not a salad.  I don’t like peas, least of all black eyed ones and you can put cauliflower and squash into the melody of veggies.

And that’s all I’ve got to say about that.

Just in case you didn’t know a thirty second advertising spot during this Super Bowl sold for $2.8 to $3 million.

I guess it took 45 Super Bowls for the advertisers to finally get a bang for their buck, you see most of the ads either previewed earlier or in a collection of ads in numerous outlets on the Internet, many reaching an audience of more than 12 million.

Then, the ads that appeared during the Super Bowl reached another 100 million.

So, have a Pepsi Max in the balls if that’s what turns you on, especially when it delivers zero calories – I guess that’s if you don’t drink it.

The best of the best ads, and I reviewed them all, perhaps was more of a comical delivery involving the Fox Sports analysts portrayed as E-Trade baby will talk, and it appeared in the pre game show.  The babies do a good job for E Trade without hitting someone in the balls.

Oh, the game . . . it was an exciting one as promised, rather ballsy if I didn’t have all these distractions . . . Green Bay won 31 – 25 over the Steelers.

And, that’s all I’ve got to say about all of this impedimenta.
