President Obama is going to make a trip to New York today to do a taping with the ladies of ‘The View’ , which will air on Thursday, bypassing an appearance at the Boy Scout Jamboree, which only occurs once every five years.
Oh, I’ll bet the Boy Scouts are really disappointed, they are most likely perceived by the Obama administration as conservatives because of their ethics.
Even if he did select the Boy Scouts over ‘The View’ he wouldn’t have been challenged by any question the kids might have asked, nor can he be expected to be challenged by the girls of ‘The View’ when the ABC show has a balance of four left wing chicks to one conservative lady – but the audience is far greater.
Is he looking for a boost in ratings – he sure needs one - by being the first President to ever lower the standards or decorum of the office by appearing on a daytime talk show?
Woopie will peer through her dreadlocks while fawning over her black hero, Joy will drop her cleavage to a new low to seduce the left winger she has been seeking, Sherri will give a new lift to her chest, while defying Michelle’s obesity index, Barbara will get an early jolt to her aging heart while lisping a question she thinks of importance and Elizabeth, the minority conservative, will maintain her decorum and respect for the office.
Ratings will soar for ‘The View’ and ABC, a favorite Obama network, clearly one of the mainstream media in the pocket of the White House.
Meanwhile the Boy Scouts will be helping little old ladies across the street while they try to find a doctor to take care of them under Obamacare.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackAs president of all the people in the U.S. Obama may have considered the Boy Scouts exclusionary policies concerning atheists, agnostics and homosexuals primarily in leadership roles. The courts have upheld the BSA’s discriminatory practices since it operates as a private institution. You can have your own opinions as to these policies but the president may not have the luxury of a private citizen.
How about saying four left wing ladies and one conservative chick. A president doesn’t have to appear on a day time talk show to lower the standards or decorum of the office. Remember Bush Jr. trying to tap dance in the White House or his attempts at an African tribal dance in the Rose Garden, including the bongo drums and so much more. Now there you go, criticizing Bush again. I happen to like Junior. He meant well, most of the time.
I really wanted to comment on your article yesterday about the internet doing the job of the Main Street media. If you meant to include Breibart’s doctored tapes of Shirley Sherrods’ speech it speaks volumes of your journalistic ethics. Maybe you discovered a kindred spirit in Breibart.
But if you really meant the Afghanistan leak, don’t waste your time. Much ado about nothing. It’s similar to the Russian spies that were recently deported. All they had to do was Google and they would have discovered more than they did in ten years.
You probably forgot about Daniel Ellsberg and the Pentagon Papers detailing the governments decision making in the Vietnam War. Nixon’s people ordered the NY Times not to print them. The Supreme Court ruled in favor of the Main Street medias’ right to publish.
You also have a memory lapse concerning Watergate. Woodward and Bernstein and mainly The Washington Post.
Where the internet is ahead of Main Street media is mostly in celebrity gossip.
Did you really mean to shill for David Horowitz? Shameful.
Doctored tapes? How about over 90 thousand of classified documents that on the one hand the administration says is old news, but condemns the release of same. How about Breibart’s release of the information to the New York Times asking them to contact the White House for a review of same. Times does so and White House ignores request – this all took place before documents were released. How about White House pouring $1 Billion a year into Pakistan while being fully aware of counter spy efforts with the Taliban by Pakistan? Who’s really putting our Armed Forces in harms way? As for the rest of your history lessons someone long before me said the ‘past is prologue’, I just happen to use it a lot. You forgot to tell me that President Nixon once appeared on ‘Laugh In’ appearing in an open faced placard saying ‘sock it to me.’ By the way way David Horowitz was a radical coming from a family that leaned toward communism – it took him a while to find his way.
The doctored tapes had nothing to do with Afghanistan. As far as the war is concerned I agree with you that there is a lot to question. The danger is that our enemy knows us much better than we know them. They think in terms of decades or even generations. We deal with immediate or near term gratification and lose heart when we don’t get it. The fact is that we were attacked on our homeland and as the strongest country in the world we have to do everything possible to never let it happen again.
Thanks for mentioning the Nixon-Laugh In episode. So ‘The View’ is pretty tame stuff.
David Horowitz isn’t worth any more of my time. My only question is, if Horowitz was a radical what is he now?
I know what the doctored tapes had to do with, I wrote a column placing the blame on the rush to judgment by the administration.
By the way Fox news restrained from using the doctored tape until all other media played the story and then they showed the complete tape which vindicated Sherrod.
I think we agree on Afghanistan and realize the knee jerk reaction to attack following 9/11 on the country from whence the terrorists originated might have been a proper course at the time.
However, now terrorism has spread like a cancer and the cells are everywhere, therefore the need for immigration reform.
The battle lines are not defined, identification of the enemy is difficult at best. More disturbingly is the fine line that appears to exist between Muslims practicing Islam on a 24 hour basis appearing to faze into society with normalcy, being something they are not, that easily seems to cross the line and easily transformed into radical terrorism.
Yet with this knowledge by the administration, we continue to use the words of political correctness to deal with this serious issue. I think we need to understand this religion for what it is not with a policy of complacency and political correctness.
There was a book written by Dr Peter Hammond called ‘Slavery, Terrorism & Islam: The Historical Roots and Contemporary Threat.’
A reviewer, Forrest W. Schultz, was struck by by an appendix which he said “contains the astounding fact that Winston Churchill was well acquainted with the nature of Islam.
“This is nothing short of amazing. Now everyone knows that Churchill was among the first to recognize the danger of Nazism, and there are some who also know that Churchill warned about the danger of Communism and coined the term ‘Iron Curtain’, but I never before heard anybody before say that he warned of the danger of Islam. This is almost incredible – the same man warned of all three of the main dangers of the 20th and 21st centuries,” the reviewer said.
No, I don’t know any more about Horowitz than you do. I just happen to agree with his booklet, “Barack Obama’s Rules For Revolution, The Alinsky Model.”
I guess you known by now that I do believe Obama, by his actions not his rhetoric, since he has been in office, is following the Alinsky model.
Real the “Boy scouts Jamboree”, real? Are you saying he disrespect our boys in uniform?, please. Or is he more focused on speaking to adults (The View) about what he is doing to repair our nation (those boys can’t vote, you know). And so you know (or take a look yourself) Twelve other presidents have skipped the Jamboree, including Ronald Reagan (he missed all of them), Gerald Ford, Richard Nixon and yes even Dwight D. Eisenhower, among others, so, honestly, who cares, I don’t.
