Diversion of blame is the name of the game in the Obama administration as has been demonstrated during every issue he has confronted from the financial crisis, the economy, loss of jobs, the oil spill and now immigration.

We all know leaders before him have dodged enforcing immigration laws that are on the books for political reasons, none wanted to loose the Latino vote whether it be legal or not.

But Arizona stepped up to the plate, after all they are on the front lines, wrote a law that mimics the federal law, intends to uphold it and was then vilified for it by the Obama administration while more than the majority of Americans support the state of Arizona.

Obama initially put down the bill calling it ‘misguided’  and suggested that the law would be a gateway to “racial profiling”, when in fact the law specifically outlaws screening suspects based only on race or origin.

He then sends out his minions in the form of Attorney General Eric Holder, Secretary of Homeland Security Janet Napolitano to echo his “racial profiling” message, when the Federal law, which Obama fails to uphold, contains the same language.  When Holder and Napolitano voiced Obama’s party line they hadn’t even read the 10 page Arizona law.

Then to make the hypocrisy more hypocritical US Assistant, Secretary of State Michael Posner apologizes to China during a two-day meeting for the Arizona law, a nation which partakes in arbitrary arrests, detention, forced sterilization of women, harassment of Chinese citizens, the horrific treatment of dissidents and mass executions.

Following this offensive and unseemly apology to a nation that commits inhumane acts against its people, P. J Crowley, a State Department spokesman, disputed the notion that Posner was apologizing.  He said he was standing up for America by describing our debate functions in a civil society.

However, Crowley again echoed Obama’s “racial profiling” position about the Arizona law.  But when asked if he read the law, he said he hadn’t.  The third Obama minion who speaks out against a law they haven’t read.  The media has not asked Obama if he read the law.

To further cement the administration’s position on this issue Obama hosts a state dinner for Mexican president Felipe Calderon, invites him to speak before a joint session of Congress in the House chamber where he says in part: “I strongly disagree with your recently adopted law in Arizona.”  Two thirds of the chamber gave him a standing ovation, Democrats; Republicans remained seated.

Although Calderon was speaking of the Arizona law he was also criticizing the federal law because the Arizona law mimics the law of our nation.

Who is the Mexican President to lecture Americans on our state and federal laws, when in fact his country is the problem with outlandish corruption, lawlessness and runaway drug cartels?

Immigration under this administration is clearly an Obamanation for political reasons.
