After 12 months in office spending taxpayer money that didn’t produce jobs, taking over the auto industry and financial institutions, pushing for increased taxes for health care reform and cap and trade, while unemployment and underemployment reached the 17.5 % level, President Obama, launched a duplicitous overdue campaign for jobs.
But Obama put a flack’s public relations spin on jobs yesterday, saying that he would entertain “every demonstrably good idea” for creating jobs, but at the same time said, “our resources are limited.”
Obama’s funds wouldn’t be limited if he would stop growing government with health care reform, estimated to cost more than a trillion dollars over the next 10 years that will result in the further loss of jobs and prevent the creation of them. Further funds would also be available by scrapping cap and trade, especially in light of the climate fraud recently uncovered – the globe hasn’t warmed in the past 11 years no matter how scientists try to massage the numbers to meet political expectations.
If Obama were serious about creating jobs he would reduce taxes, not increase them, especially for small business that generates 70 % of the jobs in America.
No, instead he wants to increase taxes on every sector of the American economy and at the same time taking away the tax breaks given to Americans by the Bush administration.
This administration manufactured, as the scientists did trying to prove climate warming, a health care crisis when the real crisis has been a lack of jobs.
What good is health care for all, when some 16 million Americans are out of work and won’t be able to afford the required payment for their health care?
New unemployment numbers came out today and Obama tried to spin them into a positive, because only 11,000 people lost their jobs last month. Since the stimulus package was launched, 3 1/2 million lost their jobs. This amounts to 23 months of sustained job losses.
Obama is well known for saying what he wants you to hear but fails to tell you what he actually means. This is his definition of transparency.
As we have said in this column before, until the uncertainty that has been created in Washington over new Obama policies is removed, the job picture will continue to remain bleak.
