Which state would you recommend Sarah Palin represent as a senator? She couldn't get elected in Alaska for any office. If you actually give it some objective thought you would see the tremendous difficulties in her being elected to the senate. Besides, she's only interested in the White House. You will be hearing more and more praise for her from high profile democrats. They consider her the gift that keeps on giving and would give anything for her to make a run in the next presidential election.
Your statement about Obama's past being entrenched with Muslin connections beginning with his parents is misleading. His biological father was Muslin; his mother was Christian as is Barack, his wife and his white grandparents who raised him.
But the question is even if both his parents and grandparents were Muslim what is the significance? Would you say that an American whose parents were of German birth should be accused of being a Nazi? Of course not. In both instances it would be the lowest form of guilt by association and would clearly violate the spirit of our constitution.
The veterans, including WWll veterans, that I'm in contact with on a regular basis at a nearby VA hospital generally have no problems with Obama. They are more upset over having been drawn into a conflict on false premises that have caused so much harm to our country. Or as you would say "mendacity"?
