You mean you don’t want to go on a cruise?

You got it!

How about we visit the White House?

What?

Let’ s discuss this. How much have we spent on our most expensive cruise?

Oh, about $40,000.

Well, I have a deal for you; we can probably negotiate a vacation over a period of time at the White House for about $30,400.

How does that work?

Well, as I understand it we have to get in touch with the Czar of Vacations at the White House.

We have to pledge $30,400 to the Democratic Party, you know, that’s the maximum we can contribute and then we negotiate with the Czar as to what we want for the contribution.

You’re good at that, look at the deals we got on our cruises, I always liked those Swedish valet’s we had on our cruises.

But, I’m new at this – what do I negotiate?

Well, for starters we request a night in the Lincoln bedroom, dinner with Barack and Michelle, breakfast in bed the next morning, a briefing on world and domestic affairs, lunch with the kids, a dog petting session with Bo and a visit to the veggie garden – plus a take-away of all the bathroom acoutrements – which will make nice souvenir talking points for our parties.

What else?

Well, I could probably get a round of golf out of this with Barack.

What would you talk about?

Oh, wealth distribution.

You, know we could probably get a bowling session for our grand kids with their children.

Our grand kids don’t bowl!

Perhaps you could negotiate a basketball game for me with Obama, after all I did play college basketball. Maybe I could get a White House tee shirt.

You know, we would probably come home with some interesting souvenirs and experiences we could talk about, and you would have never-ending columns about someone you talk about endlessly, but not with admiration.

You’re probaly right – you don’t care much about dogs, so much for Bo, our kids don’t bowl, I don’t like his polices dealing with the economy, wealth redistribution, health care and we are not in sync with Marxism or socialism – why don’t we take a cruise!
