I suggest to those that are Republicans, Democrats – right or left – and Independents, that we the people on a non-partisan basis form an organization in Washington DC to protect our Constitution.

The Constitution has not been protected well by past and present administrations and has not been adhered to by elected representatives of the House or the Senate.

And, these are the people we vote into office, who for the most part have not read the Constitution, nor the bills that they vote for and unfortunately no longer represent us or the Constitution.  If they did so they would not have taken the actions they have.

We the people need to do something about this.

I would suggest that we create a lobby in DC, there are many of them, that is nothing more than a watch dog that oversees Congress and the Administration on a non-partisan basis, to see that what our forefathers recommended in the papers that govern this land are upheld, and that their actions are challenged, when not in accordance with the Constitution.

Yes, we should play the game the way it’s played in DC – unfortunately it’s the only way that it’s understood by the politicians of our land.

And, we the people collectively have the money to be a player, if we truly understand what is at stake.

Government control was not what our forefathers wanted.  They instituted specific provisions to prevent big government and with the consideration of States rights.

The present move for Government Health Care Reform is unconstitutional.  There is nothing in the Constitution that supports this move any more than the take over of the Automobile Industry, Banks or Financial Institutions, yet the people’s representatives in Congress have failed to represent the people on these issues or their Constitutional rights.

I am not going into the details of these statements for I want you to read the Constitution, which I have.  I want my representatives in government to do the same, along with the bills they pass, which they admit to not reading.

Whether you be an American born to citizenship or a legal immigrant that proudly became a citizen of this great country, stand up for what you believe, and you have learned, and protect the Constitution of the United States.  Do it with the support of a lobby that protects what you believe in and support it with dollars no matter how large or small.  We can take back our country which so many have fought for to defend our Constitution, some that were not even citizens.

There is a PS to this column:  I would suggest that we the people demand term limits of four years on all elected officials from dog catcher to President — this will curtail corruption and cronyism of the good old boys.
