I don’t know about you, but I don’t like what I see. Obamacare has become a focal point in President Obama’s administration and he wants to get his way and when someone comes from Chicago politics he uses ‘Mob’ tactics to get his way and then takes the very word ‘Mob’ and turns it against we the people.
I hope you watched the difference between the real town hall meeting held by Arlen Specter, the GOP defector, where there was demonstrated outrage in Pennsylvania and the staged set-up by the administration held in Portsmouth New Hampshire where a young girl called ‘Julia’ a pawn of parents who were Democratic supporters and contributors of Obama who served up a planted puff ball for Obama to explain the protests outside the arena and the ‘yes we can’ – an Obama campaign slogan signifying pro-Obama support, inside the arena.
It was a PR flack job that fell flat and you didn’t need to be a rocket scientist to see through it.
It is the administration that doesn’t understand plastic from natural, astro turf from grass roots.
It is naivety and judgment that is failing this sophmoric administration.
Obamacare is the bankruptcy of America. And the reason for the objection of grass roots uprising of health care reform is in its simplicity. You can’t provide us with more for less. You can’t take away what is good for what will be bad, by historical evidence, and you can’t talk end of life discussions without euthanasia.
You can’t have more than 1,000 words in a bill, driven by staff persons, with convoluted words that lawmakers can’t understand, and then ask the people to buy into government intervention and control, and then turn it over to government bureaucrats to govern and expect it to be any better than the Post Office, Amtrak, Medicare or Medicaid.
It is sad when we hear the President of the United States encourage people to not ‘listen to people who want to scare’. I don’t like the thought of this admonition – is this still a democracy? Or is it Chicago politics?
