The real question when it comes to  President Obama,  is whether he can do  something other than speak, because when it comes to the signature bill of his administration, Health Care, the wheels are coming off his teleprompter.

And, the teleprompter has crashed on at least two occasions and the rhetoric then fails to flow off of Obama’s  silver tongue.

Everything in the six months of the Obama administration, with the advantage of a  Democratic controlled Congress  — the stimulus bill, the climate bill and the forthcoming Health Care reform bill — must be rushed through Congress without legislators having an opportunity to read the legislation they are being asked to pass.

But the brakes have been put on Health Care by the ‘Blue Dog’ Dems who are getting vibes from their voting base that something is wrong here and the people want their representatives to get Health Care reform right and to take the time to get it right.

But this is not part of the Obama playbook.  Ram it through, attack your adversaries, play off  your momentum, this is what he learned from Saul Alinsy’s book “Rules For Radicals.”

This is the way community organizers operate, e.g. ACORN, the only expertise  Obama comes to the Presidency with, other than his oratory.

And if you haven’t noticed he uses this rhetoric — when a teleprompter isn’t crashing to the ground — like a strategic weapon is used in war.  Six months, and hardly a day goes by when Obama is not in your face.

Waterloo is the word that is being used by the opposition to a potential failure on Health Care reform, and he took the bait on this one and attacked the messenger as he has been well taught by Alinsky.  Obama said, “this is not about me.”  Wrong — it is about you.  It’s about your radical approach toward socialism, leading to fascism, government control, redistribution of wealth and leveling the playing field for everyone and destroying capitalism.

Tomorrow we will hear some more rhetoric while he fights for government controlled health care reform — a trillon dollar bill for the next 10 years in the worst times since the Great Depression.

His poll numbers are descending and he is being put to the test, his campaign promises are not being fulfilled, least of all transparency.  There certainly isn’t any transparency among his more than 30 Czars.

His spending, from stimulus, climate controll and health care does not make any common sense.  He is taking the nation to bankruptcy admist 10 % unemployment.

And so tomorrow night I hope the wheels come off his teleprompter again!
