I was sitting at a Tiki Bar the other evening having a sandwich, not an Obama DC burger with NBC, wondering how the President fits into the wealth re-distribution plan he has designed for everyone else.
I couldn’t help think about his salary, which hasn’t changed, while everyone else’s has. I thought about his health care plan, which is better than everyone else’s, and better that we can expect with Health Care Reform, with all of the perks that the entire Congress has. I thought of his pension plan, which hasn’t changed and is better than all Americans, his and his family’s secret service protection for life, and then I thought of some of his perks like Air Force One, gourmet meals at the White House and elsewhere and wondered how he was coming along with his following of Saul Alinsky’s playbook of Rules For Radicals by self-administering his own wealth distribution?
I came to the conclusion that he has determined that the Obama’s are the haves and everyone else will become the have nots, for I do not see the sacrifice in the Obama household when it comes to wealth re-distribution. Are you all going to hand out some vegetables from Michelle’s Victory Garden on the White House lawn to the have nots?
While we cap salaries, tell executives what they can do and what they can’t, appoint some 20 Czars that are not accountable to the congress or the people but only to the President, put the Federal Reserve in charge of the global financial system, who is again not responsible to the Congress or to the people, aren’t we on the road to Fascism and eroding the founders concept of the Constitution?
If wealth re-distribution is a goal shouldn’t it begin at the White House with President Obama showing some leadership in how he and his family are making a sacrifice?
Instead I see “date nights” in New York and Paris at taxpayers gross expense while the very arrogant pontificating administration admonishes Corporate executives from flying a Corporate jet to Washington DC to defend themselves on a bailout of an auto industry that shouldn’t have been bailed out in the first place, except for the fact Obama had some campaign promises to keep to the Unions.
What hypocrisy.
And how will you defend your wealth distribution plan after you leave the White House and make millions on book deals and speaking engagements, all of which you owe to the people that voted you into office, while you leveled the playing field for everyone else but yourselves.
Will you be sharing the wealth then, or for that matter now, and make the sacrifice that you are asking everyone else to make during these troubling times of people loosing their homes and unemployment approaching 10%? I doubt it Mr. President. But, I am open to you proving me wrong.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackTotally agree. Everyone else is the “have nots” for the DC Government crowd. And that is exactly how they want to keep it.
