It was only yesterday that we penned a column that said there were signs of transnationalism in the Obama administration as a result of his recent European trip where he gave away the store. And, today he confirmed our premise when it was revealed by the New York Times that he was looking for a path for illegal immigrants to become legal, rather than pushing for border control.
In other words, to hell with the laws. Let’s grant amnesty to all the illegal immigrants, for after all this will guarantee a second term for Obama — because this is where he get’s his votes.
As I said yesterday, proponents of transnationalism seek to facilitate the flow of people, ideas, and goods between regions. It also signals a shift in migration patterns.
While building up his popularity abroad, Obama gave away the financial sovereignty of the United States, allowing control for our financial system to be governed outside of America.
They call him a bright man, but this wasn’t a very bright move.
How about laws, are we going to allow Spain to pursue prosecution of Americans for advice they gave to the Bush Administration on actions against terrorists? This is a new process known as “lawfare” where Americans could be processed under an International Criminal Court.
We have a misguided missile in the White House that want’s to be as transparent as the “Shadow,” not as transparent as in the true definition of the word as he promised.
I suppose I’m dating myself. For those of you who don’t know the “Shadow,” it was a radio show — pre-TV – starring Lamont Cranston. The classic line was, “The shadow knows.”
As for transparency in the Obama Administration there is very little. On his trip to Saudi Arabia he bowed to the Islamic King. I saw it on TV. Obama is 6′ 1 1/2″ in height. Now it’s not like I was looking at a midget nodding to the King. Our tall President bowed at the waist and was subservient to a monarchy, something no other President of the United States has done.
The White House put out a statement today stating that Obama was just trying to come down to the level of the King because he is short.
“The shadow knows” about transparency.

Follow-up comment rss or Leave a TrackbackA conservative figure for illegal immigrants in this country is 12 million. Some estimates are as high as 20 million illegals. Most of them have been gainfully employed, raised families and paid their taxes. Children of illegal immigrants born in the US are American citizens with full rights as any other American. If you can come up with a workable plan to prosecute and punish these immigrants including deportation I’m sure the Obama administration would welcome your ideas. They may even establish a new department; Ministry of Alien Deportation or MAD for short and if you have some spare time you can even be the chief MAD minister. The president was dealing with existing illegals not ruling out any method to stem the continuing flow of border crossings.
President Obama during his European trip stated that “…….there have been times where America has shown arrogance…..”; this is very different then quoting him as saying that America is an arrogant country and all that that statement would imply.
The thing about “lawfare” forget it. Some judge in Spain probably didn’t take his medication and thought he was Franco.
The queen’s IPod. Of course the queen had an Ipod. The queen has everything. But the one Obama gave her was downloaded with show tunes following the instructions of the queen’s people who deal with royal gift receiving.
It was truly unfortunate that Obama bowed to the king of Saudi Arabia. I didn’t like it and I can’t imagine what the hell he was thinking of. Of course when President Bush greeted this same king to his ranch in Texas he planted a couple of smackers on the king’s cheeks and then they strolled around his grounds hand in hand. Considering the Bush families involvement in the oil industry and business ventures with mid-east oil potentates it’s not surprising that cheek kissing was in order.
Springsteen would never go near the merry-go-round, he was more a bumper car kind of guy. Maybe a bumper car is something General Motors can produce. On second thought the Japanese would do it better.
Transnationalism will have to wait.
