We have seen it before in history.  Perhaps we have to go back to the late 1920′s, yes the Great Depression.  A time that is quite parallel to these times, when powerful leaders come along to turn a crisis into a power play for their own political philosophy and ego, and with respect to the US, take a country into a direction that our forefathers did not envision for this Democracy.  President Obama believes in Big Government, so did Hitler.  Obama’s policies are socialistic, so was Hitler’s.  Our demographics in the United States are ripe for ignorance and Obama struck at a time when this ignorance was combined with Bush administration policies that did not resonate with the people.

Within 50 days of Obama’s inaugration he has given us the fastest drop in stocks in nearly a century.  He is attacking all issues — real estate, jobs, financial institutions, health care, energy, wars, global warming etc. — at once, with spending the likes of which no President heretofore could equal creating a deficit of all time and so far succeeding in none.  He certainly hasn’t brought confidence to Wall Street with either his policies or rhetoric.   He has brought to us more nominations for cabinet and other high level positions in his administration of tax cheats than any other President, the most prominent being the Secretary of Treasurer, who overseas tax cheats.  And he, after several tries can’t find a Deputy.

President Obama was in Columbus Ohio Friday saving 25 police trainee jobs for one year while the unemployment rate in the nation went to 8.1%.  Critics say Obama should address the issues at hand in the order of their priority, but that would be common sense — and the obituary on common sense has been written some time ago.

Meanwhile instead of hunkering down in DC to address and deal with the issues at hand, he is enjoying Air Force One and traveling — with his tele-prompter, like a Linus blanket — to sell his so called recovery plan to the ignorance of the people who want the promises of Big Government to take care of them.

His campaign promise of not taxing 95 % of the people and taking from the rich to give to the poor like the Robin Hood he is . . . is at best disingenuous.  His return on taxes to the people on a Federal basis will be $13 a week — enjoy!  But he fails to tell you what he is taking away from you with respect to Social Security, Medicare and energy — and that doesn’t mention what the States will do to you in dire times, because they aren’t fairing too well either.

Now, Obama made a lot of promises during his bid for the presidency.  The problem with making promises when you are the president is you have to keep them for the media is keeping track.

When it comes to transparency, the President hasn’t fared to well.  He sent VP Joe Biden to meet with the AFL/CIO at the posh recently refurbished watering hole the Foutain Blue in Miami Fla., this week for a clandestine meeting behind closed doors.  Was this to discuss eliminating secret union voting?  And where was the transparency?  The White House said the Union wanted the meeting to be closed.  The Union said the White House wanted the meeting to be closed.

Now, freshman President Obama is showing that he is not qualified at this stage to be sophomoric, by taking on Rush Limbaugh, a conservative talk show columnist that he wants to portray as the GOP leader, that Republicans were admonished not to listen to.

This is a style of accusation that the President should realize is beneath the level of White House sophistication.  Nevertheless the Dems are holding, I am sure with White House approval, a billboard contest of 10 words to bash Rush.  Perhaps this is nothing more than another attempt to make the rich — Rush — richer and tax him more to give to the poor.

President Obama is not appealing to the sophistication of the American people, he is appealing to its ignorance, and that is a sad state of affairs when you track the history of this behavior.

President Obama owns the White House, the Congress, the Senate and most of all he now owns — the Economy!

It is time to educate the ignorant — perhaps there is some ‘pork’ available for this in Obama’s trillion dollar budget?
