It appears that the world is meant to be in a state of constant unrest. Some of this can be attributed to the people, at those times of the most violent unrest, who temporarily inhabit places on this global planet, and perhaps the rest can be placed on the law of the jungle.
I don’t know what it is that makes Barbara Walters feel compelled to ask questions that make people cry, but it is probably safe to say that she has done it more often than any other correspondent in the history of journalism.
