As 2008 comes to a close I would like to provide you with some statistics on this Website.  We have been around for a while — since the year 2000 — as The Storch Report, then becoming donstorch.com.  We present a conservative point of view on most issues and we do so as a way to return to the profession we enjoyed the most, journalism.

We have promised fair and honest reporting with a declared slant to the conservative side of issues.

I wish I could provide you with a true validation of the statistics I am going to provide to you, but they come from Google and there are few out there in cyberspace that have been able to break the Google code, or exactly understand how they come up with these stats.

But before I do so, I would like to provide you with a stat that I can validate, we have written 242 columns this year on 32 categories of issues.

Here are the Google stats:  We are ranked a 3 out of 10. They say we have received more than 500 visits from 15 countries and territories worldwide and more than 1,300 persons visited our pages, which amounts to 3.17 pages per visit and visitors spend 5.49 average time on the site.  Oh, we also receive 40.98% new visits.

Very frankly I’m just glad there is someone out there logging in.   I am writing this Website to  communicate in a participatory democracy and to deliver a point of view and present some balance to the liberal side of issues and personally return to a form of journalism that allows me to revisit my past.
