Something the world needs to know about America is that we as citizens of this great country are Americans first. What does this mean, it means that we may be Democrats or Republicans or independents or something else during the primary election process, but when people go to the polls we are unified behind the winner.
Barack Obama was elected our 43rd President of the United States. He is our president and we will stand behind him.
We are proud of his accomplishments and we are proud that this country after all of its past trials and tribulations with discrimination and slavery has elected a black American to the highest office in this land of freedom.
Let no nation not understand that we as citizens are not behind this man. He is our President and has our full support.
During this turbulent period of times, with an economy in the depths of a recession, with wars in two countries, our newly elected president has a challenge unlike most that come into office.
Nevertheless, he has assembled in a short period of time a cabinet that for the most part I agree with. It reflects a conservative approach to government, surprisingly so, considering Obama’s left wing leanings.
His troublesome selection is, Eric Holder, Attorney General. Aside from, his recommendation of Marc Rich, a felon, during the Clinton Administration for a pardon, his policies threaten the security of the United States with respect to the gathering of intelligence.
Barack Obama will be given a honeymoon period to prove himself by the media, but that will be short lived because we will be watching.
But let no one be mistaken that he is our President and we are American’s first, and he is our president.
