Big Brother is watching in Missouri where Barack Obama is employing law enforcement ‘Truth Squads,’ to ensure that Missouri Ethic Laws are not broken.

It appears to us a rather heavy handed approach to make sure that voters understand that Obama is a Christian and wants to cut taxes for anyone making under $250,000.

It would be interesting to know if these ‘Truth Squads’ are telling voters that Obama would be raising taxes for everyone else and would eliminate the tax cuts the Bush administration instituted.

And, that such ‘tax cuts’ for those making under $250,000 overall is actually a tax increase.  The impact of such policies would have a direct effect on small business, the industry that provides most of the jobs in America.

The Missouri ‘Truth Squads’ consist of high profile law enforcement officials, two prosecutors and a sheriff.

These squads would target anyone who didn’t tell the truth and to examine if they violated Missouri ethic laws.

It is one thing to correct the truth or perhaps some misunderstanding about the way in which a candidate’s position is interpreted, but to use law enforcement personnel to examine possible violations of the Missouri ethic laws, it has the tone of an outright threat to citizens and a violation of first amendment rights.

It is a heavy handed approach by the Obama campaign, and in our opinion, such tactics have no place in the United States.
