Hillary Clinton received more than 18 million popular votes in the primary campaign for the Democratic nomination — an all time record — that cannot be ignored, which she pointed out in a speech this evening, while losing the nomination because Obama received more delegates and is the nominee for President.

But Hillary in her speech this evening was running to be on the Obama ticket.

She wants to take back the White House at any price even if she’s second banana, living somewhere else than on Pennsylvania Avenue.

The message was clear — she was not quitting.

She’s still running for something.

She wants the war in Iraq to end, she wants the economy to improve and most of all she wants universal health care for all.

Meanwhile Obama declared that he was the Democratic nominee for President to an overwhelming ovation.

He said that Hillary Clinton has made history in this campaign and congratulated her in her race in this campaign.

“Let us unite tonight,” was Obama’s theme.

Then he attacked John McCain — and we were off and running on the national campaign.

He suggested that McCain should spend some more time in the United States than Iraq to understand what’s going on here to understand change.

Obama says the other side will present another view and he said he will look forward to that debate.

He made reference to ‘we are all Americans first’ in his speech. However, I still want an answer to a quote in his book Audacity of Hope which says ,”I will stand with the Muslims should the political winds shift in an ugly direction.”

I have a serious question about his allegiance to the United States.

Obama is a scary candidate. I am concerned about his associations, his judgments, the comfort of middle east terrorists with his nomination and his lack of denouncing unsavory characters he has been associated with.

And if he takes on Hillary as his VP, this would be an unsavory relationship with Bill and Hillary — something the electorate should seriously consider.
