On the political scene today, it was another pastor disaster for Obama; a former presidential press secretary sold out President Bush to sell books; Obama is being politically forced to visit Iraq; a black man is stealing Hillary’s show; and she (Hillary) may suspend it rather than end it, but Pelosi says she will not allow the election process go to the Democratic floor of the convention.

Again in Chicago another pastor disaster took place on Sunday at the Trinity United Church of Christ, where apparently Barack Oama’s character was formed, when the Catholic pastor Michael Pfleger said in a sermon:

“When Hillary was crying . . . I really don’t believe it was put on. I really believe that she just always thought ‘This is mine. I’m Bill’s wife. I’m white. And this is mine’, ” he said, shouting at times. “Then out of nowhere came, ‘Hey I’m Barack Obama’. And she said, ‘Oh dam! Where did you come from? I’m white! I’m entitled! There’s a black man stealing my show’ !”

Pfleger issued a formal apology today, but that’s what most do in this church, whether it be pastors or parishioners, like Obama. And now he is distancing himself from another pastor. Pfleger was a member of the organization Catholics for Obama, but now he too has stepped down as Obama’s former pastor the Re. Jeremiah Wright.

It was more of the same from this pulpit at Trinity, more of the same incendiary language and anti American invective, a pulpit from which Obama and his wife were married and their children baptized.

This is not a question of endorsement for a candidate; it is the question of the character of the candidate. Obama has yet to resign from the Trinity, after hearing this incendiary language from this puplpit, language which has dogged his campaign since March.

Scott McClellan, the disgruntled former White House Press Secretary, continued pushing his book on the Today show with conflicting remarks today as compared to pass comments he made on authors writing Kiss and tell books..

He continued to dam the President on almost every level and doing more harm to his own character, credibility and loyalty.

Obama is now considering a trip to Iraq, so he can better speak on what he so often speaks about — Iraq. He was forced into this position by McCain, who noted that he hadn’t been back to Iraq since 2006 and doesn’t know whether the surge is working or not. Furthermore Obama is ready to meet with the President of Iran, but has yet to meet with the General who is running the war.

Pfleger not only mocked Hillary, but told her that a ‘black man is stealing my show.’ It now seems more likely that Hillary will suspend rather than end her bid for the White House, as we predicted a month ago, so she can take the fight to the Convention floor. But Nancy Pelosi, the House whip and Chair of the Convention, said today that she will not allow this. Will see.
