“Good Morning Hillary.  Good night’s sleep?

“As a matter of fact Bill, I had a rather bad dream.”

“What was that?”

“Oh, I didn’t get the entitlement vote that I expected in this race for the presidential nomination, you know as the way in which we discussed it in college.”

“I mean, I thought we set the country’s perception for the fact that I was going to be the next president for 8 years?”

“Well, Hon, I thought that too, and I thought it was working well . . . that is until Obama got into the race.”

“He’s a rather slippery one . . . he can dance well, eat water melon at the same time and dodge bullets as well as you did in Bosnia.”

“Bill, you know that was not very nice.”

“Look Hillary, I tried. I pulled every race card I knew as well as one on patriotism in this campaign, and it didn’t stick.”  What do you want me to do?”

“I told you to come out immediately with a statement on Rev. Jeremiah Wright, saying that ‘he wouldn’t have been your pastor.’ “

 ”I’m going to use that one Bill, following my “mispoke” on the Bosina issue.”

“But, I always thought perception was reality?

“Yes, Hillary that is often the case.  I think the key here is for you to get more popular votes then him, show the super delegates that you can beat McCain and the nomination will be yours.”

“But, Bill that’s an up hill battle, he has more democratic votes, more votes overall and he leads in delegate votes.”

“Yes, but in the next set of primaries you must beat him in the popular vote, which will be our key to success.”

“Then we can pull some of our dirty tricks and get the super delegates to swing our way.  I think we need to take this to the floor of the convention.”

“Let’s face it Bill, your good friend Bill ‘Judas’ Richardson’s betrayed us.”

“The rats are jumping ship.

“I’ve been thinking Bill, with all the news about sex among our Governors and Mayors, do you think it would be approprite for me to come out of the closet at this time?  After all they are getting a lot of nice play.  Perhaps it would give me the boost that I need?”

“I’m sure it will give you something along those lines Hillary, great idea.  I’ll call Matt Drudge.”
